Session 7 of Keep on the Shadowfell. This encounter was not in the module but generated by the oracle. I got the pawns out for this session and enjoyed it. I just slapped the 4th Edition tactical rules onto TBH. Works like a charm.

Apologies, didn't mean to sound critical. I encourage everyone to game the way that's best for them!
ReplyDeleteThe rocket notebooks are spiralbound, reusable notebooks that have an app for "scanning" (to various services like Drive and Dropbox). Someone posted about them here a few months ago.
From what I've read, most folks love them but I think the "paper" is some sort of coated fabric (requires certain type of pen and wipes off with wet rag), so it might not have the "feel".
I'm a paper man myself (carry my own homemade midori style notebooks everywhere as a wallet), so, like you, I'm dubious. But intrigued. I'm curious to try one and see how it compares.
P.S. I have the paid version of CamScanner and love it. I'm not usually scanning hand-written notes, so I'm not sure how well the OCR works... perhaps I should give it some tests...
