Hey everyone! First off, i'd like to thank this community for being so helpful. I'm very new to Tabletop roleplaying, let alone solo play. You've all been very helpful with getting me started with this hobby, and with that being said, I went ahead and posted the first session of my first campaign. It still has no name as it is just getting started, but I am very much enjoying myself.

The adventure takes place in 21st century earth, where various supernatural races and entities from myth and folklore have reappeared and begun competing with humanity for land and power. My PC is a dragoness by the name of Cimara who has awoken from a long slumber. Having been asleep for so long, she finds her hoard nearly gone, siblings nowhere to be found, and the world she once knew gone and replaced by that of modern day humanity. For several years leading up to the beginning of this campaign, she has hid in her lair high up in the mountains, occasionally taking on difficult odd jobs from a variety of factions to help rebuild her lost hoard, with varying degrees of success.

Don't expect it to be well written as I am not a good writer in any capacity. Please leave your thoughts and ways that I can improve in the comments please, I'd love to see what everyone thinks!

  2. nice setting!
how many points did you use to create Cimara?
how do you set the difficulty and the number/types of NPC?

  3. lino pang I used 540 points to build Cimara. I modeled her after a young adult western dragon. If you like I can screenshot her Character sheet. As for NPC difficulty, I just kind of play it by ear. I try to keep normal humans somewhere within the realm of 100-200 points, with superhumans or mythical beings/entities being 400+. Cimara is relatively powerful in both raw strength and magical power, but still young and inexperienced (for a dragon) . If She encounters another dragon, they are likely to be much stronger. I can take advantage of the setting and give weaker beings stronger equipment so battles aren't entirely one-sided.
