Some news about what's happening with me and why I've not been active recently.
Well the big news is that 2 weeks ago (really!?) my wife gave birth to our first 2 children.
I've also got the basics for SoloRoleplayer.com set up and once I've done a couple of small tweaks I'll be launching it.
My Guide to Playing Alone is in the process of being uploaded to RPG Now. I'm putting it on sale for $1.97 and should be released next week. A quick hint here if you head to soloroleplayer.com and sign up to my mailing list I'll be sending a coupon to get the guide free...
Once I've done those I'll be turning my attention to the video solo RPG. It's almost all ready to go.
I'll also be looking to launch the Frustration to Freedom course. Oh, and I still need to annouce the winner from this group!

I don't know if it's bad form to toot my own horn here, but I made a customizable Javascript idea generator. I figured somebody here would be interested.

Have I shared this game with the group yet? I can't recall. It's one of my all-time favorites. I'm bummed that the designer, Simon Cogan, stopped making PDF expansions and only uses the wiki now. Nevertheless, you can get all the expansions in PDF form.

The game lets you play your very own adventures in the doctor who universe. I'm taking some inspiration from both it and Stars Without Number for use in my Wanderer system. While this game has many different predetermined locations, I'm letting players create a matrix that creates the location and its challenges as they play. Imagine a blank version of the Adventures, where you roll, and if it's a blank entry, you fill the entry using the enemy, hazard or NPC creation rules and then encounter the same thing at this location every time you roll that result again.

As an update for Tabijin/Wanderer System, I'll let you all know that I've worked up a system for creating enemies, hazards and NPCs in a single roll, with a few more optional systems for increased depth. Enemy moves, trap success and NPC actions are dependent on your rolls. This is going to give an experience very much like a gamebook's combat system, but it only requires you to roll for yourself.
