Hey everyone. I designed this rpg and would like feedback. Although there are no actual solo rules within, I created it to play a solo dungeon crawler.
Thanks!

Hi all. Hi created this rpg to be a rules light version of Torchbearer, but the core rules are based mostly on Cthulhu Dark. I would really appreciate it if others could help playtest and provide feedback.
I'm most concerned with the play balancing of the luck score and also the wear & tear number of turns.
Thank you!

ReplyDeleteJesse Cox Thanks a bunch!
ReplyDeleteI snagged a copy for offline reading, but it might take me a day or two to get to it. [So many good things dropped into my lap this weekend.]
ReplyDeleteTodd Zircher That's awesome, please take your time.
ReplyDeleteTodd Zircher I updated the file btw.
ReplyDeleteI finally got some free time to read this cover to cover. Fun stuff! I'll have to add this to my gaming to-do list to see how it plays. Mechanically sound and easy to follow along. The only thing I found were a few typos that a grammar/spellchecker could find (I read it in MS Word and it high-lighted the few that I saw.)
ReplyDeleteTodd Zircher Thanks for checking it out 🙏 Yeah, I plan to do more updates as I continue play testing. When it gets to a stage that feels solid to me, I’ll reformat the layout and go over editing.
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated for your feedback!
Oh, I do have question. Four PCs go into combat, is that four turns or just one shared turn for weariness tracking?
ReplyDeleteTodd Zircher just 1 shared turn.
