I like miso. I'm also digging the Lasers and Feelings mechanics. It has a binary resolution. I like the idea that instead of pass/fail yes/no it should be two equally awesome and exciting outcomes
If you're not familiar with lasers and feelings, its elegant. You roll a d6 for resolution. If the action falls under the characters area of expertise, she is granted an additional d6 and another if the action is prepared. A fighter who is fighting can expect to be rolling 2d6 unless afflicted. Combat can remove ability dice, since there are no HP listed. You let the narrative guide the game.
Tam H total typo on my part/I was very sleepy. I'm not sure about "packed" so I've just generally gone with the suggestion of using an oracle of some kind.

Chad Robb I've heard the name but never checked it out. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMiso is a great system! I'm not sure what "packed" and "Mix" are though?
ReplyDeleteTam H Seconded. Maybe I'm too old, but I didn't even know how to Goog that up! :D

ReplyDeleteYeah I do see Gboard getting "packed" out of "oracles" on occasion, be on the lookout...
ReplyDeleteHahaha. MY typos are so bad even autocorrect can't help. And that does make more sense.
