Sorry for the late reply, your comment doesn't show up sometimes. If you mean to my question the most obvious is in the video, where you use dungeon crawler bits but supplement with your own story and game mechanics. You can do the same with dungeon crawling card games.
Getting further away, I know people who use Once Upon A Time, Dixit, and stuff like Hobbit Tales/Cthullu Tales for storytelling ideas. But those are cards. I think even Rorys story cubes might fall into this area? I'm not am expert.
Going further is a little beyond me as there are a ton of different board games out there, but there are a lot where you could add an emulator and your own story and it becomes a different experience.
