Kanban Agile approach to solo gaming?
(If you don't know what the Kanban methodology is, check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5izyN66PTxs)
This is a crazy thought I had, and since it's half baked, I had to post it.
So, if you sort of get the gist of Kanban, I was thinking that list of items we sometimes need to keep track of like thread lists, npc lists, etc, could be better managed with this approach.
For example, what if you introduced your NPCs or threads to follow by ranking them by how interesting you find them at the moment? That is, as opposed to them randomly popping up based on a random roll or whatever.
What about Kanban's Work In Progress limit? The Work In Progress limit (which you set for yourself ahead of time) would then limit you to X number of threads you're following at any given time.
Dunno, I think I need to try it.
