I play a different system all the time. The style of Solo Roleplaying Voyages is based off one shot gaming, which at the time was the only way I could play RPGs in person
Sort of. I find the weather influences what I want to play. The beginning of spring always makes me want to play B/X D&D for some reason, though this year instead I did a short adventure with Épées & sorcellerie and a longer one continuing my LotFP historical campaign -- but in the vein of a wilderness adventure culminating in a dungeon crawl.

ReplyDeleteOh for sure, my thing is I fundamentally enjoy learning rules :)
ReplyDeleteMy main group with people only want to play Savage Worlds. So! I make sure to justify the cost I've spent on these other rules by giving them a shot.
