So, upon hearing the news, I had to at least write up my memoir regarding Zach. He had helped me out with this hobby in a way that I didn't realize until now, and for that, I am grateful.

    For someone who hasn't heard "the news"... there's nothing in your article which explains why you're writing it with a heavy heart. It reads like an obituary, so of course i can assume what it's about, but... you know what they say about assuming.
