Hi all - I'm looking for a few good people to playtest English Eerie- rural horror storytelling game. First come first served.

  1. Count me in, Scott. Happy to help.

  2. I'll throw my hat into the ring. One of the reasons that I do solo play is to test new things out.

  3. Cheers chaps, I've sent each of you a link. I won't need any more playtesters for now - otherwise it'll become too unweildly

  4. Once we've given it a run through how would you like for the feedback to be submitted? This thread or via the private thread in which you sent the play test docs?

  5. Geoff Osterberg just include it on the private thread or email scott@trollishdelver.com

  6. For anyone that needs a candle... you can download one here to play in your browser. Silly name, but it is a fine animation. :-)

  8. Jacob Kent looks like you got the tone down. How'd did the play through turn out? I'm hoping to try it out tonight, or this afternoon if I finish my Frostgrave battle at some point.

  9. Good, i used the suggested clues/obstacles that I drew and went from there...i had some good gothic horror music playing in the background as well that really got the creative juices flowing. This is the first solo rpg I've done and it's making me want to give Quill a shot after I finish this scenario.

  10. Jacob's doing it right. I can actually see a mashup of English Eerie and Quill.

  11. Folks, I've added a new scenario to the playtest document. How's it going?

  12. Nine entries in and have not drawn a single diamond yet. I really did shuffle. Loving it so far, more free form than Quill but still has enough structure to stand on its own. Love the fact that I'm building a mystery and I don't know how it is going to end.

  13. Todd Zircher that's crazy! Yeah, that's pretty much what I was going for. I got creeped out writing the latest scenario

  14. Just e-mailed you the play through at the e-mail address above. Would love to see what the others are doing with it. Big thumbs up for me. Thank you for letting me play along in your eerie world. :-)

[Yes, I somehow messed up the distribution of the Queens, but it still turned out well.]
