Just wanted to share my combat grid "arena" I doodled in the back of my solo pocket notebook. Not sure if I want to carry around a pencil, try to laminate the thing for dry erase, or try to come up with a magnet or peg type system to make a portable pocket board.

A fold-up board that fits inside the notebook (or became a cover that wrapped the notebook) might be ideal so as not to flip back and forth when taking notes. If anyone can think of some 1cm size tokens or game pieces, or 3d printing options for a thing like that? I've got some 1cm cubes from my wife's teaching supplies, but they're all identical, so I'd at least have to mark them up or paint them. And there's also the problem of toting them around (not that I dont often have a pocket full of dice these days...).
