I've been experimenting with Markov chains and created a generator for myself. It creates some interesting output, but also a lot of noise. I've come to it think of it as a tool that gets me halfway there with ideas.
I've put together some of the output into tables and modified the entries a little where I think it was needed. Lots of repetition as my sample text was relatively small.
This is aimed at the fun-house/haunted house, surreal type of dungeon crawling that does not require a ton of logic. I would roll on one of these tables first to get the feel of the next room/corridor, followed by the dungeon generator.
Let me know what you think!
