Ironsworn

Ironsworn

Sorry for the cross post, but wondering about play space and document management. Please share your set up!

New player getting set up

Hi community! I’m prepping for my first solo play of Ironsworn, having just picked up the PDF. The various play aids and layout of materials is excellent and I’m hoping some of you can share description and/or photos or your play space.

As a solo player with small children in the house, I have little time or space for my game materials and am very keen on keeping a minimal foot print.

Has anyone used moleskines or bullet journals to manage documents? What about pocketmods or other alternatives for the asset cards?

Thanks for sharing!

  1. My setup is completely digital. I use a chromebook and have found Google's document software to work well.

Google drawing is a good tool for maps. I use Google sheets to create character sheets that handle calculations. Then a doc file for notes.

For Oracles I use mythic v2 via an android app that I wrote up. For general dice rolling I stick with physical dice though. I greatly enjoy tossing the dice into the tray.

This setup is easily portable when I travel. Or I can play in whichever room of the house I find to be most comfortable. Is easy to play whatever background music puts me into the right mood too.
