It's a variation on 1974 Style by Stan Shinn, which is a variation itself of Searchers of the Unknown. A few personal touches are the character abilities and the Saving Throws I got from Swords & Wizardry Core.
I also realized I forgot to put the Saving Throw on their sheets. The original idea is d20 + level vs. 10. But I prefer, I don't know how to explain it, it feels like it's a touch low. So I used Swords & Wizardry. Both Lionel and Genevieve are fighter types and would use the Fighter saves.
The world and story idea were inspired by Small but Vicious Dog which was inspired by WFRP. So, it's kind of gray protagonists up against the Ruinous Powers of Chaos.
