Is anyone here familiar with Tiddlywiki? It's a personal wiki app with a lot of functionality and customization options stuffed into a very small package

I started using it for work notes, but as I've gotten more familiar with it I see a lot of potential for incorporating it into my solo gaming.

  1. I used it to write my first draft of #WritingWithDice.

I also tried using another mobile wiki app to play a scarlet heroes hexcrawl. Each page was a hex node, with links going in each direction. I like it, but it's a bit of work and I lost momentum when I upgraded my phone and lost the data.

  2. It's been around for a long time. I remember messing with it quite a bit more than a decade ago as a platform for some work documentation. As soon as I handed it off to someone they converted it to a Word doc though.

  3. I've used it for more than a couple of my campaigns, but never for solo gaming. I see how it would be useful tho. I like the wiki format and so was glad when I found this to have my own.

  4. I've used it, but not for RPGs. The nice thing about it is you can run it from your filesystem without a web server.

  5. There used to be a version called Ten Foot Wiki that was tailored to RPG campaign management, but it hasn't been supported for many years.

  6. I use TrunkNotes for my solo gaming for some time. I think it's got far less bells and whistles than TiddlyWiki, but I haven't changed from the personal wiki format for 6 or 7 years.

  7. Same, I used it (or was it Kwiki?) 15-16 years ago as a task tracker for work. I remember it was nice to work on something that both Mac and Linux users could access easily, or Windows when we were at a client's site. (This was astounding back in 2002.)
