So there's a good looking deal on several Dungeon World books at Bundle
of Holding. Anyone have experience with soloing this or other PbtA
games? https://bundleofholding.com/presents/DungeonWorld3
I've played Monster of the Week. I thought the PbtA system worked fine in solo mode, but I had problems with that particular game due to the mystery-based structure of it. Oracles aren't good at that form, I guess.
One thing you can do is use the list of GM moves as a random chart to see what the GM does next. MotW also has lists of NPC types and location types (not sure if other PbtA games have that) which were useful as random lists.
I may try playing it again some day, and possibly just choose the monster in advance and pretend the characters don't know. That way the oracle doesn't have to try to create a bunch of random clues that actually lead to something.
Oh ok, gotcha.

I've had the DW book for a while but haven't read it yet. I opted in on the bundle for the PDF and for Perilous Wilds/Deeps.
