For no particular reason, earlier today I was thinking of the Aladdin Technique, posted by +John Fiore back in 2014. I cannot find the original post, but Aleksandar Battreps blogged about it and thankfully copy and pasted the original post. It's a smart idea to randomise and enrich a scene description.
