I've begun posting the Call of Cthulhu adventure I used as a test of my solo mystery rules (https://plus.google.com/100239150117259244081/posts/e4Yfyh1ZoEd). In the first episode, we meet the heroine and follow her as she uncovers the first Clues to the shocking events which will turn her world upside-down.

Ah, now that I see it in action, I like it a bit better. Especially with the randomness of how you picked your "list of suspects."
ReplyDeleteI loved this report! Julia and Alexandra really stand out as great characters (posthumously, in one case) .... a little more on the glamorous-pulp side (a soft sport for me) than the typical HPL story. Everything is so well written and well played that it makes it look easy! I must have the Cthulhu Hack somewhere; maybe I should try something similar :)
ReplyDeleteEvandro Novel It's the most glamourous CoC adventure I've ever played, but as it is a one-shot I let the dice determine quite a bit more than I would if it were going to be a longer campaign. That said, it's fun to write up. Alex became a very good character in absentia.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see what you do with the Cthulhu Hack.
