This is really cool, I'm going to have to give this a run! Are you using the full version or just the 2 page old version for this (and if so are there any options in the big book you've found handy for solo play?)
Justin, I was way late to the Kickstarter game. I bought the rpgnow preview over the holidays, but that's an older version of the rules. There are a few extras - a suggestion that you roll to see if the PC actually believes something happens in the next session. Graham recommended that to give the player a sense that they weren't fully in control of their character, and its apt. Good for solo play, that's for sure.
The other thing from the preview is the idea of Creeping Horrors for a given threat. So a creeping horror is some foreshadowing of the actual horror, sometimes inexplicable, often introduced or used as a cue or idea springboard when people roll a 6. I really liked those, I think I wrote them up for the lichen and still have one to use.
That's a cool idea, sounds almost like the idea of Grim Portents behind the Impending Doom on a Dungeon World front (if you do the DW vibe). Consider it stolen :)
