Not to happy with my Ironsworn hack. Anyone has a link to resources about "scripting" enemies or "timetracks".
I feel like if I script them too hard and time is too linear, it takes the suspense out of it. If I get to lose with my handling of time and enemy actions I lose suspense as well ... really a tightrope for me

Well, in Pythia I have a random event trigger. You tell the system when you've triggered a roll and whether or not you succeeded, then a random number of turns later it informs you whether or not something was there.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I've tried and liked is a rising pool -- you add to the pool on a specific action or event (like "rolled doubles' or something). When it hits a certain point the enemy makes a move. You can also tie in rolls of your own -- when you roll under the pool's current amount or over it.
