I picked it up yesterday and I'm saving it for when I finally get to collapse from this head cold, curl up with some tea, and enjoy. Very much looking forward to it. :)
I just played my first session of Scenario One. Much like my character I actually am far from home right now, so sitting in the dark of my hotel room with some spooky atmosphere music made for a rather tense experience. I'm looking forward to continuing it tomorrow!
I was just thinking about a custom illustrated card deck, maybe even with prompts similar to GMA cards. I don't possess the skills (or software!), but maybe someone has started working on this? With three suitably (or increasingly?) ghastly Grey Ladies; or even three different forms of horrors such as beastly, ghostly, and just weird or cosmic weird!
Some things that could go on the cards: day/night - clock time weather sensory prompts (as per GMA cards) atmospheric prompts/items verb/adj/noun keywords d10 result tarot or icon images secondary character: -household -relative -locals -stranger -scholar -psychic etc.
Sorry folks, my thoughts are going wild right now.
Hey, it's awesome it's inspiring you so much! Write it all down! And maybe there's some tools extant that might help too, like Gamemaster's apprentice?
Heh, that could be a fun premise right there. You're late to the party. What kept you or what horrific thing did you discover when you arrive? :-)
