I've started a game of English Eerie. This is my notes on setup and the beginning of play - I'm adapting one of the scenarios to take place in 1937 rural, coastal California.

  1. Cool! I like the setting twist. During my play the first couple sessions I drew all spades, so it was all a slow creep toward the big events. It's really neat how with a different card you got a completely different story going.

I'm interested to see what happens when you draw your first Queen, since it only offers a single option of how play proceeds.

Either way, I'm excited to keep reading!

  3. Nice, also dig the modified setting. Have a notebook open in front of me right now as I start a playthrough of the same scenario in its unaltered form.
