This is my latest obsession. Has lots of cool ideas. Wonderful character creation. Awesome advice for the GM.

Need to playtest this further as it uses a strict turn order and I'm not sure if this is fun on the long run. But I'm smitten.

  1. I'm curious, what makes it an index card rpg?

  2. A bit of a misnomer. It is based on the Index Card sets that the author put out a while ago. These are cards that can be used as minis or location cards.
The game ruleset doesn't really need cards. They are useful for game prep and visualization but not necessary.

  3. Sounds like a GM after my own heart. I love using index cards for prep so I think I should get this

  4. This is on my "to play" list. I'm planning on incorporating a few of the ideas outlined within the core book to every game I GM or solo play from now on.

  5. Hmm. I've been convinced to order a copy. Seeing as the shipping wasn't to onerous for a change I decided to go with a printed softcover.

  6. Hmmm cool on the attack tasks thing. Some rpgs like fantaji or fate do that but its interesting to see a traditional rpg take it on.

    Thanks for thr review!
