Hey, I decided to challenge myself by writing a new solo microRPG each month. I made a dedicated repo to house those and the other games I've written. June's is up.

Still trying to figure out how/if to incorporate comments, but since I never really managed it on my blog either I'm not worrying overmuch. Anyway, enjoy!
Feedback is, as always, welcome on anything you'd like to comment on.
Karl Hendricks Here's a stab at a system agnostic "how to solo" one page framework. Nothing innovative, but a decent overview of the style that I was first introduced to as "soloing".
ReplyDeleteAs you can see, imagination failed me when it came to a name!

This looks great! Definitely going to give it a try and probably start working on my own as well. I haven't worked with LaTeX directly in quite awhile, but I'd love to try the template if you're willing to share.
ReplyDeleteOh, sure, just took me a bit to strip out the cruft. And I'm sure I missed some! I'm no LaTeX expert, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteI linked the repo page or you can direct download it here:

I've been using columns, essentially. It's not the sexiest thing ever but it beats the price tag on InDesign or the learning curve of Scribus. My latest tinker is seeing if I can do something more fluid/flexible in LaTeX but I'm not really "there" yet.
