Recommendation for solo engine for room-based game needed

Recommendation for solo engine for room-based game needed

I plan to herd some Alfheim characters through a solo run. I'll probably just use Miso RPG [^1] with a 5 room dungeon [^2] as the solo engine to keep it simple.
My main interest is to learn how the ICRPG system works.

ICRPG lends itself well to room based design. Should I use something different? Schweig's Generator? Location Crafter?

Here are the characters I made, no actual play yet. http://dieheart.net/ap-icrpg-chargen/

  1. If IC handles rooms just fine, I'd say to keep it. Of course, if you were to ask me personally, I have not heard of Schweig's Generator and thus would like to see it in use.

  2. I've been getting a lot of use out of Schweig's Dungeon Generator lately for both LotFP and É&S. I definitely recommend it for shorter dungeon crawls (15-20 rooms, roughly 1 sheet of A4 graph paper).

  3. Very interesting!
    I agree with Todd Zircher.
My only advice: I'm not sure that carrying two bows is a good choice for Aranderel, it's one of those cases where redundancy is counterproductive.

  4. Several bow strings would make sense.

  5. Schweig's Themed Dungeon Generator is good for generating a small dungeon with a particular theme. I used it for the 20-room dungeon crawl on my blog (using Labyrinth Lord for rules). Personally, I would like to see how ICRPG handles room design as well.
