Do you have a comprehensive guide to your changes/suggestions for playing Untold Adventures Await using another RPG system somewhere? I've seen numerous suggestions in some of your posts and replies to other people's posts, but just wondering if you have your own "guide" to doing this all in one place that I can take a look at.
Thanks so much!

ReplyDeleteJohn Fiore posted the following in January:
ReplyDeleteplus.google.com - First game of the year: UNTOLD: ADVENTURES AWAIT (No surprise) Series: Tales ...
I’m working on a few things in my busy schedule, running my second episode of ‘The Actuality’, using Untold Adventures Await. Surreal Fantasy hopefully bringing in new characters and I will add the use of a Sooth Deck for more surreality.
ReplyDeleteA game set in the Clover Kingdom, with my possible hero Lessa, a commoner young woman who is a Mystical Adept who has the Grimoire of the Black Star (Controls Gravity Foci). She seeks to join the Magic Knights and ultimately wants to become the first Wizard Queen. (Cypher System Character, I’ll have to work out a Difficulty Table inspired by the Untold Adventures Await Cards).
Another game will use the awesome Index Card RPG, character creation is quick as is play. I might do a Ghost Mountain, Weird West style game. Creating a Difficulty Table should be easy, so I would make Difficulty Engine Cards with the Difficulty Ratings. Below is rough raw untested success Table.
Success And, could be a Difficulty 7 (10 Easy)
Success, Difficulty 10
Success But, Difficulty 12 (10 Hard)
Fail But, Difficulty 14 (11 Hard)
Fail, Difficulty 15 (12 Hard)
Fail And, Difficulty (15 Hard)
I might play around with just making the Difficulty Engine Cards a set of 30 cards numbered from 7 to 16, with Easy and Hard cards.
