Does anyone have any experience with this iteration of PDQ? http://www.rpgnow.com/product/109029/Achtung-Cthulhu-Three-Kings--PDQ-Core-Rule-Book
It looks interesting. I was always interested in doing a PDQ game, but the versions before didn't fit what I was looking for (i.e. lack of gritty rules).

I bought it and am checking it out. I like how they upgraded the PDQ system. I may run a scenario in the near future.
ReplyDeleteI loved the PDQ system and Risus until FU came along. All three of them are super light and most easy to play solo. I like them because they allow the story to shine most easily. But if you like more crunch and detail then you won't like these and your solo gaming will get bogged down in details and simulations the crunchier rules system you get.
ReplyDeleteI loved "The Zorcerer of Zo" setting and I used "Questers of the Middle Realms" to play lots of "Dragon's Lair" sessions.
