  4. Like Kyle Maxwell said, definitely do not forget about the fray die. I'm guessing your character could have survived that combat if you were using it.

    If I was in your shoes, I'd bring Yu back from the brink of unconsciousness with 2 HP or so, have him taunt the toad god with "izzat all you got" and finish this combat. But I'm not in your shoes, so... :D

  5. Ah yes, the wizard's fray die works against higher HD monsters - I forgot the exception to that rule :(

    There are no do-overs! Perhaps soon a close friend of Yu will come looking for him - his pirate gang knew where he was headed after all.
