    How exactly do the dice inform play? As a resolution mechanic for the outcome of a test or conflict? Or is there more to it?

  2. I do mostly make it up as I go. Many times, I will have a 'big bad' in mind who has an agenda. Most of the time, it is dungeon crawling and exploration.

    What I meant about the dice is, just like multi player games, sometimes the dice go bad or good, and the outcomes of battles or skill checks will spawn an idea in my head that I hadn't thought about before hand and send the forming narrative in a completely different direction than I thought the story might go.
