Nice short and tense adventure. I think I really have to check out Scarlet Heroes solo system. Sounds interesting. I also don't hesitate to kill characters in a solo adventure. Otherwise, there would be no tension, no risk. I enjoyed the read.
A very interesting tale. You tell some great stories. I like the Scarlet Heroes solo system. (You are a bit hard on your characters. Two for two dead.)
Carsten Rossner Yes I recommend checking out the Scarlet Heroes solo system. In my opinion it provides the right balance between randomness and structure which is important if you want to play a solo game relatively quickly and easily. Scarlet Heroes characters don't die very often as you have the option of using Defy Death to help them find a way out of their predicament, or in the case of a combat letting them live on with 1 hit point when they are reduced to 0 hit points. In the case of Getak I considered that I'd run out of options - he had only 1 hit point and he failed his Defy Death roll.
