This is why I regard your blog as my favorite solo RPG one!
But I have a couple of questions. How do you decide on a (N)PC race? Did you made a table or do you just consult oracle every time? And where do you get their names from?
For many NPCs, including Wex, Bootleg, and Jather, I just used the race listed on the templates. Vudlor Taf did too, but I changed his profession from artist to black marketeer to make more sense in the story.
For the most part, the alien races are just a random selection from a list or book, or even just the first thing that comes to mind. There are so many aliens in Star Wars that a table would be both impractical and also constantly producing nonsensical results.
For NPCs that have the potential to be interesting or important, I pick random templates and species separately, and modify the attributes based on the difference between average human and alien stats.
I just make up all the names, too. Sometimes I use earth words and change them a bit (or not). So far in this adventure it's all been just me stringing together random phonemes, but there is a Drubal Has in an upcoming scene (from Hasdrubal; I glanced up at my bookshelf and saw a book on Carthage).
