Simple RP system
So I have been looking around for different RP systems, solo drivers and whatnot. None of them really fit me. To much rules and things to keep track of.
I decided to try and make an own simple system. I took inspiration from some of the parts of other systems which I thought was great. Sometimes I simplified them, sometimes not.
This system revolves around 2d6 which most people have laying around.
It requires some own interpretation and choices in what you want do in given situation. But once you're settled with them it's very few things to keep track of.
Usually I play an ever simpler version and often do opposing rolls as single rolls and add skills on the go without bookkeeping them. Sure, it doesn't become correct and might vary later on. But this system is for fast play and story.
If you have any questions, suggestions, find mistakes or something is downright missing. Please give a comment!
Okay, then I completely misunderstood you. In the first version I had a lot of examples. Decided I would use less (none) to make it easier to get an overview. But I can understand it becomes hard to grasp for new players (which this is also targeted at). I'm working on a complete re-haul of the system and I'll include some examples of situations which might be hard to understand.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
I've done a complete re-haul of the system. I hope for the better.

* Modified skill system
* Simple "xp" system
* One type of rolls
* GM emulation uses same table as normal rolls
* Extended example
This version reads much more clearly. The extended example gives a nice range of scenarios, and how the emulator can be applied (and other resources looked in to, as required.). I could use this system easily.
