Hey, wrote a couple more games (well, one game, two flavors). What with the holidays and all it's been hard to find time to do much for myself but hey, there's always that dark, quiet time each night earmarked for "sleeping", haha. No worries, the heaviest machinery I have to operate this week is the wine corkscrew.
Anyway, hopefully there are no glaring cut and paste errors since I was working on both simultaneously (what an absolutely terrible idea, I discovered). And there's no posted playtest yet, though I did run one for 6 Days To Adventure and it was fun! Kind of went in weird direction though.
Anyway, Merry Christmas!
(Also, if anyone is interested in the LaTex source let me know.)

Just a quick addendum based on my play test -- I feel like the act structure really left me with a great skeleton for a future novel (someday?) but that the play log maybe isn't all that satisfying to read.
ReplyDeleteProbably a lot of that is my fault because I didn't "get the magic" until about a third of the way through. So I want to address how to get that in there as early as possible too, along with callbacks and themes.
I do have some ideas where I want to go from here that are more freeform while still retaining that structure that's so elusive in solo. Would love to hear opinions/thoughts, too!
