I don't know how many people are interested in Ars Magica, a crunchy system for playing powerful medieval wizards and their associates, but I was reminded of it today and stumbled across this intriguin set of solo play rules. It's fairly system-specific, but seems to generate interesting detail, and might work particularly well paired with an oracle at points. Enjoy :)
