I finally got a chance to play some Lady Blackbird, and it is sweet, sweet narrative play that I might just be addicted to now.

Anyway, the further adventures of Declan the half-demon in the Dark Ages; it took me a bit to get into the sword and sorcery vibe but when I did I ran with it.

Interestingly, with the tools in my Lady Blackbird hack, I really didn't need to consult the oracle much. It's got me thinking about some new tools that might work better in a narrative format than a Yes/No thing.

But, anyway, I can't wait to see what's in Blades in the Dark now. :)

  1. I've enjoyed LB in a solo setting too. Very narrative.

  2. I just read your post on it yesterday, in fact! I have to agree, when did "telling ourselves a story" become a bad thing? Ha.
