My Fiance Lysa Clarke has updated her Ironsworn AP

Originally shared by Lysa Clarke

Updated my solo RP, it continues at the bottom with "The Problem with Monsters". I attempted to share my mechanics and rolls, I am realizing I don't roll a lot, so I'll try my best in the next session to do more, especially since I'm going to have some new things to come up with and ponder over the next day while at work!

  1. Rolling a lot is not required for solo play. Sometimes a stretch of dialogue or narrative naturally flows from the scene. Or, you be using something like story cubes or tarot cards that flavor the whole scene as you integrate those themes into the text.

Feel free to share your mechanics if you desire (there are many styles for doing this.) But, don't think you need to grind out pages of die rolls, well, unless that's what you like. :-)

  2. Thought I'd might as well hop in on this group as well, so I can read/reply to comments. :)

Todd Zircher I was asked to include more of the mechanical aspects for the others playing to understand my own ways of puzzling out oracles, dealing with the strong/weak hits and misses, normally I just roll with the flow and forget to joy things down, so it's a good exercise at least in what I'm doing and keeping track of my rolls!

I love the idea of adding in Tarot influence, I may pull my deck and start using them in addition to oracle rolls for the settings/beginning themes of my chapters to start with.

  4. Howdy and welcome! LWR is a pretty nice group of folks and a good place to share actual plays and solo RPG news and resources.
