Added a ready-to-play adventuring party of 3 characters to Blade&Lockpick, as well as an example of character creation using the Path system.
Over the next week or two, I am also going to expand the booklet with more game examples to help people grok how it all works.
Simply download your file from rpgnow again and print the two final pages.
Cheers!
Download version dated today. Unfortunately I saved over my original copy, but I can't seem to identify (find) the changes...
ReplyDeleteIt should be the last two pages, unless something got screwed up when I uploaded the file?
ReplyDeleteMy last two pages are "Scene by Scene" and "Designer Notes".
ReplyDeleteGotcha, the website bugged out when I uploaded the file, so let me try that again. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteCould I have you check it again when you get a chance? Should be fixed now. Dreadfully sorry!
ReplyDeleteIvan Sorensen, sorry, same last two pages... strange. Doesn't it replicate across all the sites? I DL'd from RPGNow, maybe if you updated from another of those linked sites it hasn't replicated across?
ReplyDeleteThe back-end should be the same, but it's possible there's a delay.
ReplyDeleteI usually do any updates through the wargamevault part of the site, so maybe it's taking a bit to propagate?
I'll try doing it through the rpgnow interface, just to see. Otherwise probably just have to wait a few hours.
Though it does have an update stamp of "2017-12-02 13:46:39"... stranger and stranger.
ReplyDeleteThe plot thickens.
ReplyDeleteI checked the source PDF on my computer and its definitely the right file.
I'm wondering if there's an issue where their servers are still serving up the old cached version or something.
I'll try it again in a few, but with the updated date/time stamp, you would think it would have updated the cache too... unless they are using something like ColdFusion and that cache is... sorry my computer geek is coming out... I'll keep my fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteIvan Sorensen, I have a great news for you... downloaded new version. Must have been a cache issue.
ReplyDeleteHuzzah! :-) Now I hope it was worth the trouble!
ReplyDeleteI like the Path creation walk through, so worth it for me.
ReplyDeleteAwesome :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to add a few more examples of some of the more fringe mechanics in the next week or two, but hopefully they'll update more smoothly.
