Hoping to start up a new solo game of Vampire soon. First, though, I need to get some world building in. Here's my current thoughts.

  1. Interesting, I haven't really looked at Vampire RPG's, I've been too concerned with learning Dungeons and Dragons, and Shadowrun. Think I might have to look up some Vampire Roleplaying Games after those.

Nice blog, I've added you to my blogroll, it's good to see I'm not the only one who struggles to find time for solo roleplaying. I like how you are developing your own setting, NPC's etc before you start your game. I've not tried that before, I'm still fairly new to RPGing, but something else I'd like to explore.

  2. I think a vampire is a perfect PC for a solo horror adventure, happy gaming !

  3. Oh yes, Vampires usually are solo characters, I never thought of that. I used to love reading The Mammoth Book of Vampire Stories when I was younger, I'll have to dig that book out again. Perhaps I can create a setting and borrow some NPC's from there?

The wonderful thing of Playing Solo is that you can pretty much do whatever you like, you only have One Player to please!

  4. You named him (the Prince) after the Celtic Lord of the Hunt and the Underworld, you get 1 million bonus points! You now need to ghoul some white hounds for him - maybe a story there?. Looking forward to reading more of these tales, have a blast!

  5. David Coleman I also named the island after the anglicized name for the Celtic underworld, and the rival, Hafgan, after Arawn's rival in the Mabinogion.

I am aggressively uncreative when it comes to my names. :)
