Since I run more social/mystery games, I need a bit more to work with. Best case is probably using a pre-established setting, since you need a decent number of detailed NPC's for my style of games.
But there's lots of different ways you can go, depending on what your personal style and passion is.
Strange thought, is there something like an online clone of Clue/Cluedo where you could play with limited information and integrate that into your story? [And if not, I really should make one.] :-)
