Is Mythic still the go-to for solo RPGing, or are there other interesting frameworks out there now?

I seem to remember the solo adventure that came with the T&T corebook (c 1975), but as you pointed out about the Lone Wolf series, that was a pre-planned adventure, too.
I always suspected someone looked at the pre-planned solo adventures and said to themselves, "It wouldn't take much to completely randomize this", but I don't know who that was or if it was ever published. That sort of thing sounds like gaming magazine material, and T&T would've been a simple enough system to support it.
