Guys, got a long, unimportant reunion in a while. I'll be there for about 4 hours so, any recommendations for solo rpgs that can be played "stealthily" in meetings?

  1. Just thinking out loud .. you could take formal notes about your meeting in shape of a mindchart. The mindchart itself becomes an evolving dungeon which you can crawl. You can use the number of words/letters in each bubble as an Even/Odd randomizer for the Bivius RPG action resolution. So you do look very professional as you take notes about the actual conference, and nobody will mind the small cryptic notes surrounding the mindchart bubbles as you progress through the dungeon.

You can also advance a timer everytime a specific word is said by speaker. There are some conferences where Agile, or whatever buzzword comes back every sentence .. Said timer could trigger some events in your dungeon as you hit specific thresholds (every 5 times, etc).

  2. Etienne Lefebvre Guys, take note on this peep, he actually turned my otherwise uninteresting reunion into a learning experience.... ._.

    Thanks, your ideas were awesome!

  3. That's a pretty fantastic idea, I gotta say. Might have to work this into my golfing sessions somehow...
