I saw this game. I don't know anything about it beyond the blurb and the preview. But it might be of interest to this group.

Yes, the use of the cards seems right in line with the four elements and opposed pairings from the Domain table in the book.
ReplyDeleteAfter spending more time feeling out the Domain table though, I find that the choices really are quite elegant with the use of broader interpretation for possible meaning.
Of course, these other tables and tools I've been considering may be used better for general setup of events, fleshing out details, adding some color to turns (scenes) or just giving a nudge if stuck for ideas.
I guess I'm just partial to wanting to use more and larger tables and results generation, even if I get a bit overwhelmed or paralyzed trying to do so.
: )
I played a round of this while on break at work using a dice app. I really enjoyed it! I didn't do the journaling part. But it made part of the night go faster while thinking about how all the rolls could mean different things. And thinking about what would be the coolest yet sensible interpretations of the rolls.
ReplyDeleteI think this is going to be my go-to system for a while. It's just so easy and you can play any character(s) and setting with whatever amount of detail you choose.
