Downloaded the rules for Barbarian Prince and the Barbarian Prince App which just moves.aroind a hexmap.
Have been thinking about simplifying it and making it more like Tunnels and Dragons.
There are a lot of rules but they're intuitive. And random table based.
My setting is Gonzo Science Fantasy
ReplyDelete(Carcosa, Planet Psychon, Heavy Metal, Moebius) based on a Bible story. Specifically the nativity.
A young couple in a small town.
The young woman is impregnated by an alien god (non intrusively, just bam! Fertilized!) And they are told they must now flee and birth the demigod in hiding because the enemy is.coming to destroy them.
They will encounter Psionic slime pools, cyborg mutants, dinosaurs, computer God's, and Cthonic Horrors. Along the way they can meet followers, get arrested, get infested with demonic worms... I dunno. Still world building.

Did you get anywhere with this in the end? I love Barbarian Prince but think it would really benefit from a gonzo re-situating.
