Fun! Tech note, I didn't know about the bookmark link thingy. That makes it really handy to follow the story as it unfolds since you can pick up right from where you last posted.
Todd Zircher Thanks. Yeah, I looked that up last night to see how to add the bookmark. I thought it would be a lot easier than either doing separate documents or making anyone who wanted to read it have to scroll down through parts they've already seen.
Question for anyone who's reading/following this. There's actually some pretty significant background about Volkor's quest, why his people seem to despise magic, and how magic even works in this world (it's a campaign setting I'm creating for a group Open Legend adventure). I'm trying to introduce pieces of that when appropriate in the narrative, but it seems a bit forced since I already know this stuff, but obviously I want other people to read it or I wouldn't be posting it publicly.
Is the introduction of new terms/background info distracting? Would anyone be interested in a brief, separate post outlining the significant points of the campaign setting that affect this adventure or should I just continue on as I've been doing?
I do plan on posting/publishing a far more complete/detailed version of the setting later (possibly much later) as a resource for people that might be interested in running a game there - and as a reference for my own players.

Not at all distracting, they're memories that form the character's (and inform our) view of the world.
