Are there any APs of solo Lovecraftian horror? I think I only saw one in Mythic Yahoo group, but wasn't impressed.

Primarily I'm interested in Call/Trail of Cthulhu, but any other examples would be good too

  1. Its on my 'to-do!' sometime this year :) In the meantime, we have all learned through failure and insanity.

  2. I really, really want to give the plot framework in Technoir a try basically you have 6 categories with 6 items. You randomly generate 3 and link these together as part of the 'initial' mystery. Any new clues are linked to these 3.

As the structure grows these clues and the links between them create a critical mass and the whole makes sense.

I have tried it successfully with my kids in a Scooby Doo style game so it should work. It might require some sort of shift for a Cthulu game, perhaps the physical evidence could indicate certain aspects of the horrors faced, such as a damp patch or blood stains.

Time, as ever, has been against me so I've not tested it, perhaps it is something that others may find value in.
