I need some help with something that's driving me nuts:
I could have sworn at some point I saw a PDF of a page of Reaction Tables, based off of the one in B/X D&D, but it had different versions for different "moods" IIRC. The STRUCTURE was the same of the 2-12, but the listed results were more reflective of the the NPC's frame of mind.
This could even have been part of another product, but I'm not finding it.
PLease tell me this sounds familiar & that I didn't imagine it!
Gerard Nerval I haven't see classic Traveller, only the Mongoose one.
ReplyDeleteMadcat Angrymog Not UNE. Sort of in the same vein though. :)
Steven Lincoln Not it, but close.
The one I'm thinking of basically had a whole page of Reaction Tables IIRC, but each one was for a different "mood", so you had, "Happy", "Angry", etc. So each one was gradated keyed to the different mood. Varying degrees of Happy, Angry, etc
Seems like they way they were set up was that if you got an extreme reaction of 2 or 12 that they could then segue to one of the others (Get a 2 on a Happy person, and you just made them Angry)
Thanks for all the suggestions thus far!

Dennis Nolasco That article on "Ode To Black Dougal" is one of the best blog posts I've ever read. I have it to thank for my love of the Reaction Table. :)
