I happen to agree with what you quoted. I call that "playing NPCs as honestly as you can"
ReplyDeleteActually, I need to amend that by saying that it depends. I meant to say that I try to run NPCs honestly and logically based on what one knows about them them. This will depend on whether you're taking an omnipresent view of NPCs, or if you're viewing them strictly from your PC's perspective.
