Just finished playing my first game of the Second Edition of the Doctor Who Solitaire Storytelling Game. It's good. It's better than the previous edition, which was previously my favorite tabletop game of all time.
There are four books that you need for play. The first three, Rules, Enemies and Adventures, are already freely available on Boardgamegeek. I got an advanced copy of the fourth, Events, for the purposes of reviewing and posting an actual play.
