I have a question for the group:
When you are choosing a storyline to play, how much planning do you do? Do you choose a starting point and see where it takes you? Work out a series of places you want to visit and adventures that it would be fun to experience? Adapt somebody else's scenarios?
it's not annoying Todd Rokely. keep on keeping on.
ReplyDeleteThank you to everybody. I've had a couple of false starts, and have realised that I have to change my setting and basic scenarios to something I'm a bit more comfortable with. I suspect I'm going to do best by setting a character, a starting point and something like a basic genre, and then improvising from there.
ReplyDeleteIt occurs to me that, really, all I need to start is a character, an initial setting, and a hook, and then I'm good to go.
