This is doodle of an idea for a framework for narrative yet (slightly?) objective mysteries.
Does it work? I don't know, I haven't play-tested it yet.
Still, I thought it'd be of interest if anyone feels like reading it over and putting in some pennies.
Bonus, there's a link in the post to my solo-narrative-gamebook theorizing from a few months ago if that's of interest.
What do you think?

Haha, don't all rush to comment at once! Maybe I should throw a play-test up or something.
ReplyDeleteOriginal thread discussion that sparked the project is here:
plus.google.com - Has anyone heard of the solo rpg mystery tool "Nine Steps and a Bloody Heart"...
first! :),
ReplyDeleteI'm going to read it ASAP
Hahaha. Thanks. Feeling a bit of the old "project is done, now I'm depressed and have no new project to work on" thing. Not to overshare.
ReplyDeleteIt's a damn good thing there's so much "shiny" out there to distract me.
